Street Stylez in York, Pa. Car Show
Sept. 14th, 2003

This Sunday V.I. attended Modifying for Charities 1st Car Show. It was a long drive, but it was fine with me, since I slept the whole way up. Our weekend wasn’t as busy as it normally was since the show yesterday was canceled due to rain. Showing for V.I. at this show was Danny, Mel, Jo, Tony D., and Damon with his brand new truck. Coming for support of V.I. was Damon’s brother Tyler and a few of Jo's students. Another hot day with a lot of bugs, but at least here, there was a place for retreat indoors. It was a long day, and unfortunately, I got burned, since I forgot my visor. There wasn’t too many cars showing here, but the ones that were showing were nice. For a change I actually cleaned Dan’s car, and had it looking pretty nice, which is where I got the nickname as car cleaning bitch. Ha Ha! At the end of the long day V.I. added 3 more to the trophy room. Tony took home 3rd in Import, Damon took home 2nd in Truck/Van, and we got our third club participation trophy! Way to go guys. The funniest part of the day was our ride home, when Tony and Dan were squirting each other’s car with their windshield fluid, and Mel has a guy on a motorcycle try to race him. Mel took care of that right away though! Another great weekend for VI. We hope to see all VI members in attendance this Wednesday for the Nopi Kick off. Lots of good coverage, fun, and models for the guys. Next weekend on Saturday show is the show at Edgewood the was canceled this weekend due to rain, and on Sunday is Full FX’s show. We hope to see everyone in attendance on Sunday, since they rolled in so deep for our show!
