This past weekend Vivid showed their stuff at Ocean City's Annual Custom Car & Hot Rod Show. Showing for V.I. were me, Lauri, Tony D., Tony M., James, Chris, & Jo. Special thanks to Mike B., Wendy, Dan, Justin, Vince, Betty, Katrina, Rio, Ray H., Casey, & Lauri for the support during the show. The weekend started out as we met up at Toys R Us at 6 on Thursday night to head down to O.C. for a late roll-in. The drive was fairly good until an older Prelude decide to act like he had something until Tony M. & his Firebird showed him how it was. After that, we didn't see much of the Prelude. Once into O.C. we wasted no time getting into the Convention Center. Since the show didn't start until the next day at 5, we decided to go to bed and clean the cars in the morning. The next day at around 10 or so, we rolled into the Convention Center to start cleaning. Around 3 or so, we were ready to show. We all decided to get some grub at the local Dough Roller and head back over to the Convention Center for the show. During the show Dan & Lauri decided to leave a bit earlier, later we found out why. They stole all our T.P. and rearranged things in our rooms. So, the rest of us decided to get them back by stealing their T.P., put their refrigerator in the tub, steal thier pillows, lamps, coffee maker, & towels. It was all fun and jokes. We had a blast. The same pretty much went on during Saturday night as we all hung out and partied like usual. Me, with my flame thrower, Yaurhee with her Yiddish, Mike, who we rapped in T.P., etc. I guess you just had to be there to see all the awesome Hot Rods, hooked up Customs, etc. Be sure to check out the pics from the show and parties. In the end, we all took home trophies, as well as Club Participation. Our next event is the Richmond Motor Trend Auto Show, March 5-7, 2004. I hope to see everyone there.
