2005 OC Custom Car & Truck was a fantastic show. The show consisted of over seven hundred vehicles divided by the outside competition and the elite competition. The elite vehicles were placed into the convention center giving them the use of power. Usually VI makes a huge impact on the growing OC show, but did not get a chance to this year due to our vice president getting married the same weekend as the show. In 2004 VI showed with 22 vehicles taking club participation. 2005 was a little different. The only person showing in the outside competition was our very own Chris Souders. With stiff competition Chris however did not take home a trophy for VI. The only person showing in the elite competition was James Dark. Since he had to set up his truck on Friday he made the trip down on Friday morning and loaded in the truck and drove back with the help of Christina the same night in order to attend Melvin and Wendy's wedding. After driving back down on Saturday night and getting judged James came home with a 2nd place trophy for VI. He was very excited about the award since he was classed with all trucks in the elite class. 2006 OC Car Show will be another round of VI wins.
