For our first long haul of the year it was a fun one. Everyone always enjoys Carlisle because the show is huge with lots to do. Leaving late Friday night we arrived at the Holiday Inn around 8:00pm. We checked into our rooms of which were decent. There was a decent amount of show cars at the hotel, but not too much. Saturday was a whole another ballgame with show vehicles parked everywhere. The way they were judging this year was a little different than normal. On Saturday you could park with your team and enjoy all of the day’s festivities. On Sunday they parked you in your class so you could actually see what you were up against. Carlisle had their usual vendors, sponsors, bikini contest, and so on. We grilled, we drank, and we painted Mike Preludes wheels in the hotels parking lot. We partied on Saturday and checked out Sunday. Award winners consisted of James – 2nd Place Mid Size/Full Size Truck, Kenji – 2nd Place Nissan Other, Mike – 3rd Place Scion All, Josh – 3rd Place Cavalier/Sunfire Wild, Tony – 1st Place GM Sport.
